Coopache : So I bought this a week ago and now I don’t have any patches of dust at the bottom of the pool
Yani: So I bought this a week ago and now I don’t have any patches of dust at the bottom of the pool. It catches dead algae, small bugs, anything that’s can get through the skimmer basket. Just Incase you been trying to fight the dust at the bottom of the pool.
Phy: I discovered skimmer socks this year and will never be without again! Amazing little invention.
Yani: I love it too
Tammy: So yours float up too? My sock won’t stay down, the middle floats up
Yani: No it doesn’t float up.
Phy: The suction from the filter should pull it down.
Stephane: Mine too!! Makes me crazy!
Yani: Maybe your filter pressure is not strong enough?
Stephane: Yani, it really is strong, to the point where I made the mistake of putting my hand in front of it and almost broke my finger. 😣 I can never get them to just stay down. I considered putting a chlorine tablet in it.
Yani: Stephane lol well I think that’s going to work but would waste your tabs really quick. Maybe you can wrap the sock around the basket lower to the point that it touches the bottom of the basket? Or leave it as high as it can be so that part can stay at the bottom. Idk if I make sense.
Marie: Best things ever!!!! I never run my pump without one on
Jenni: I have a sand pump. Will this work with all? Looks like a great idea!
Yani: I have a sand filter too and it works perfectly
Brian: I bought some at lowes 5 for 5, they say you can clean them and reuse, but at this price they are just getting tossed
Yani: It’s 30 for 16.99 so I didn’t think it was a bad deal. So I will have plenty socks for a long time.
Brian: Yeah, i meant that as it sounds like a good deal, i can just toss them weekly!
