Amazing Pool Ideas
Leah: I wanna see everyone’s pools! We’re looking for ideas! Please share yours!
John: Pool Ideas: New glass tile and stamped concrete.
Anek: Talk to as many pool contractors as you can. Most will sell u certain brands. Went with a contractor that works with nptpools. Higher tile and pebble selection at no additional cost. The tiles we selected most companies wanted atleast $2k more.
leah: Love that tile? Is it called mermaid tile? I have a friend that did it and it’s gorgeous!
anek: not sure different name for every company but their catalog name it as reflections. Love the glass tile look. For the plaster we’re getting tropical blue mini pebbles mixture with sea shells. Trying to go for a modern tropical theme.
linda: I hope you’ll share a photo when it’s finished.
kiry: Kayak. Bought it used. Added the big deck. We’ve yet to paint the existing aluminum decking.
leah: Wait you can buy used pools? I’m not wanting to spend a lot because we will be selling. Plus an I ground pool is not a great selling feature in MI 🤣 Yours looks great!
kiry: thank you! Yes, our pool is 20+ years old and this is our second summer with it. We had to buy new liner, pump, filter, and of course all the manual labor hours of moving it across town, but we’re still thousands ahead. Kayak pools are expensive.
leah: ohhhh gotcha! Cool thanks!
leah : Awesome! We were looking at the customer stairs in an above ground. Is that a lot of extra?
kristen Ç Unfortunately I do not know – The previous owner put them in. I have heard they no longer make these – they are fabulous since they do not take up space in the pool.
